Our Veterinarian

Dr. Laureen Hall, DVM

"I love to learn and take part in as many continuing education opportunities as I can in order to continue to grow as a Veterinarian. When I am not seeing patients I can be found researching veterinary health care topics."

"I have always had a love for animals and when I had the opportunity to be involved in sheep, horse and beef projects in 4-H, I was hooked. When I was 12 years old I set the goal of becoming a Veterinarian. I accomplished that goal in 2002 when I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Since then I have worked in both mixed animal and small animal clinics and have worked with some amazing people and animals. I have also had the opportunity to teach at Olds College in their Animal Health Technology program, which I really enjoyed. I have a wonderful, supportive husband (Kevin) and two very outgoing children (Justin and Alyssa). In the summer we enjoy camping when we get the opportunity. In the fall/winter we spend our free time at the hockey arena and the dance studio.

We lost our dog, Mick, to bone cancer at 13 years of age in the summer of 2010. In January of 2011 we lost our cat, Raz, at 13 years old to cancer of the spleen. I was without a pet for the first time since I could remember. Although I was able to see and care for the wonderful pets that come to visit me at the clinic, I definitely felt the void of not having a pet of my own.

Kipper, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, joined our family in the summer of 2011. He is as outgoing as my kids and gets to keep me company almost everywhere I go. He has given me a greater appreciation for pets with chronic illnesses and the value of pet insurance.

My husband and I grew up in Mountain View County and are proud to be raising our kids here. I look forward to meeting you and your four legged family members!"
